We’re marking the 100th anniversary of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal with a poetry and art competition.
We are inviting entries of a poem or picture from 11-18 year olds across the district with the theme ‘Remembrance’. Entries should be submitted on a single sheet of A4, one side only, with name, age and school clearly written in block capitals on the back.
Please send entries to Town Centre Management, Allied House, 1 Spencer Court, Corby NN17 1NU by the closing date of 25 October 2021.
There will be a first, second and third prize of £75, £50 and £25 in each category to spend in the shopping centre, plus 10 runners-up prizes of The Lost Generation: The Young Person’s Guide to World War I. A selection of the best entries will be displayed in the town centre in November.
