After 36 years’ trading in Corby Town Centre, Henry & Jo Tailor have handed over the keys to their Bhanu fashion store to new owners Roberto & Alina Steffanescu.
The Market Walk, Willow Place store will be rebranded ‘Roberto’ but will continue to stock the same popular designer menswear brands.
Henry says: “We’ve had a fantastic journey since purchasing Bricks Menswear in 1982 and would like to thank all the customers who have supported us over the years, many of whom have become great family friends. We are going to miss Corby so much… the people are fantastic!”
Henry and Jo will be staying on for a short time to assist Roberto and Alina with the transition. Roberto says: “I am delighted to be taking on this incredible business. Henry, Jo and their family have made the store the success it is today, and my wife Alina and I intend to build on that success. These are exciting but challenging times and we are proud to be taking over the oldest trading menswear business in Corby.”
Corby Town Shopping & Willow Place Centre Director Dan Pickard adds: “I have known Henry, Jo and their extended family in Wellingborough and Northampton for many years. They are a lovely family with such a passion not only for the products they sell, but also for outstanding customer service. I wish them both a very happy retirement and Roberto and Alina every success with their new business venture. They certainly have some big shoes to fill but their belief in Corby and the Bhanu legacy will ensure continued success. I am delighted to welcome them to the town centre and look forward to working with them.”
