Grab a Jab!

People in Corby will be able to ‘Grab a Jab’ without an appointment this weekend as a pop-up vaccination clinic arrives at Willow Place.

The drop-in COVID-19 vaccination service – located on the new decked area adjacent to the Gateway car park – will offer first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine this Saturday 24 July from 9am to 6pm and on Sunday 25 July from 10am to 5pm.

Anyone aged 18 and over who has not yet received their COVID vaccine can stop by and get their first dose, while people who had a first dose of Pfizer at least eight weeks earlier (i.e. on or before the weekend of 29 and 30 May 2021) will be able to drop in to the clinic for a second jab.

People are asked to bring their NHS number with them if they have one (this can easily be looked up online at nhs.uk/nhs-services/online-services/find-nhs-number/) but you do not have to have an NHS number or even be registered with a GP practice to use the service. No appointment is necessary.

The vaccine clinic is being operated by Mr Pickford’s Pharmacy on behalf of the Northamptonshire COVID-19 Vaccination Programme.

Mr Pickford’s is also running drop-in sessions this week at its Corby vaccination site in Spencer Court (NN17 1NU) from 10.30am to 6.45pm this Tuesday 20, Wednesday 21, Thursday 22 and Friday 23 July. These sessions will also offer first doses to anyone aged 18 and over and second doses to those who had a first Pfizer jab at least eight weeks previously.

Full details of drop-in vaccination sessions available around Northamptonshire this week can be found online at www.northamptonshire.gov.uk/covidvaccine.
