Visitors to Corby Town Shopping & Willow Place are in for a ‘roar’-some experience this summer!
Over the summer break, families can enjoy a fun and educational range of dinosaur-themed activities in the town centre. They include ‘real live’ dinosaurs, dinosaur mask-making, facepainting, knowledge trails and library activities. The Entertainer store will also be offering a series of dinosaur-related activities and there’s also a couple of dinosaur VR experiences in local parks to enjoy.
The main events take place on Saturday 29 July, 5 & 12 August, plus there’s loads of other things to do every day of the week during the summer. All activities are FREE!
11am – 3pm: ‘Real live’ dinosaur encounters in the town centre, featuring a Brontosaurus, Spinosaurus, baby dinosaurs and their knowledgeable handlers.

2.30pm – Baby Dinosaurs
Appearances are weather-dependent – these dinosaurs don’t like rain! If the sun shines, they will be roaming between Queens Square along Willow Place and on to Corby Boardwalk. If it rains, we will post their location on social media.
10.30am – 2.30pm: Drop into Corby Library at The Cube for some fun dinosaur-themed colouring activities, puzzles and paper crafts.
11am – 3pm: Dinosaur mask-making workshop on Corby Boardwalk, Market Walk.
11am – 3pm: Dinosaur facepainting on Corby Boardwalk, Market Walk.
Look out for the QR codes in town centre shop windows. Scan them with a smartphone to read fascinating facts about dinosaurs (in association with the Natural History Museum).
