Enjoy some free festive fun in Corby town centre this Christmas! Look out for our festive entertainers around the town centre on December weekends in the run-up to the big day. And, of course, Santa will once again be paying a visit!
A special launch event on 6 December includes the opportunity to meet our enchanting giant snow lion who will be roaming Willow Place and Queens Square between 11.30am and 2pm! On Sunday 7 December, don’t miss our free Christmas craft workshop from 11am to 2pm where children can make a gingerbread Christmas tree decoration to take home. Our stunning centrepiece for Corporation Street, as well as Santa’s sleigh, will provide lots of selfie opportunities and the chance to win a £50 gift card.
Santa’s Grotto will be open on the weekends of 6/7, 13/14 and 20/21 December from 11am to 4pm. Admission is £3.50 per child to include an age-appropriate gift. No booking is required but please be prepared to wait – he’s a popular guy!
If you’re feeling full of the festive spirit you can join in the community carols on Saturday 13 December at 11am in Corporation Street, plus enjoy seasonal music from CAC Corby Choir every Saturday. CAC Corby Choir is part of Christ Apostolic Church Corby — a welcoming, family-focused church. Expect a mix of well-loved traditional carols and contemporary songs; everyone is welcome to listen or join in!
