Our open‑air cinema weekend transformed the square into a relaxed film‑themed space, offering free screenings of family favourites. With deckchairs, blankets and classic movie snacks available, the event created a warm, welcoming atmosphere and delivered strong footfall across both days.
Beach on the Square
Delivered in partnership with Corby Town Council, the pop‑up beach brought a slice of summer to the town centre. Complete with sand, seating and playful activities, it became a go‑to spot for families during the school holidays and encouraged extended dwell time.
Active Community Sports Day
A high‑energy day celebrating movement, wellbeing and community spirit. Families enjoyed free sports challenges, demonstrations and interactive activities designed to inspire children to get active and try something new. The event brought brilliant vibrancy to the mall and supported local health initiatives.
Summer Shazam
A colourful, interactive summer celebration filled with games, giveaways and mini‑activities. Summer Shazam encouraged exploration throughout the centre and delivered a fun, upbeat experience for families looking for free entertainment during the holidays.
Cali‑Lab Bar Monkeys
A creative, character‑led workshop where children met the Cali‑Lab Bar Monkeys and took part in imaginative hands‑on activities. This unique activation added a playful twist to the programme and offered something fresh and unexpected for visiting families.
National Play Day
A standout community event celebrating play, creativity and childhood. Hosted by Pavel, National Play Day brought together families for a mix of free activities, games and interactive zones designed to encourage imagination and active fun. The event delivered excellent engagement and reinforced Willow Place’s commitment to providing inclusive, family‑friendly experiences.
