We will be supporting the nationwide ‘ONE GREAT DAY’ charity initiative on Saturday, 11 September.
Our event will be raising funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital and Lakelands Hospice. There will be a range of fun activities on offer as well as a tombola and cake stall. Centre Director Dan Pickard will be banished to the stocks, with wet sponges available for a charity donation! There will also be dance presentations by Chambers Academy of Irish Dancing and free lollipops and badges for children (whilst stocks last). The event runs from 11am to 4pm.
ONE GREAT DAY was established in 2014 and has so far raised over £750,000 for more than 220 children’s health charities across the country.
