Kids – design a flag for King Charles’ Coronation on Saturday 6 May 2023 and you could win a stash of great prizes worth £250!
The winning entry will be made into a real flag and be displayed in Corby town centre over the Coronation period. A flag will also be given to the winning entrant and to their school. Additionally, the winner will be invited to afternoon tea with their family and receive a £100 gift card. There will be two runners-up prizes of a £50 gift card. We will display some of the best entries in a vacant shop unit over the Coronation period.
Entries should be produced in landscape format on A4 size white paper, ideally in bright colours – felt tip pens will work the best. The design should fill the entire space with no flag shaped border. Please make sure the child’s name, age and school is clearly written on the back of their entry.
Entries should be unfolded and hand delivered or posted to the Town Centre Management Office, Allied House, 1 Spencer Court, Corby NN17 1NU by the closing date of 19 April 2023.
Terms & conditions
The competition is open to children up to the age of 16. Our panel of judges will choose one winner, plus two runners up. Prizes are as stated and there are no cash equivalents. The winner will be advised via their school by 26 April. Afternoon tea venue and date by arrangement. The £100 gift card will be for a Corby town centre store of the winner’s choosing. The judges’ decision is final and nor correspondence can be entered into.
